ANNIE MY DARLING! I love you, you're wonderful, but OH MY GOD, do you torture me, or do you torture me? Those M&M sugar cookies you brought to work today were, and I know I told you this, but culinary genius such as yours NEEDS to be acknowledged in a public forum, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Bar none, except my grandma's and maybe the sugar cookies with the mini peanut butter cups you made last month, they were the BEST sugar cookies I've ever had IN MY LIFE. JoAnn's cookies are good, but there's always an aftertaste that's kind of evil.
In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have eaten, like, half the plate because JoAnn brought in those chocolate muffins and I had three a few of those too. I need to go shopping soon. I haven't been on a good, long day of shopping in AGES and there are SALES that I've been MISSING! Also I might need new pants soon and a good scout is always prepared Like, I saw this REALLY ADORABLE TOP from Old Navy during the Fourth of July sales, but actually I kind of missed it, because it's not like I saw it in the store, I just sort of happened to see it on somebody and then by the time I got to the store all the sizes were either shrink-wrapping or a trash bag the sale was over, and seriously, it was cute, but it wasn't worth $24.99. Maybe I need to save some time this weekend and go to the outlet shops at Birch Run. It's a bit of a drive, yeah, but the value savings are worth it, and I really seriously need a day trip along with some shopping.
You know what else is fun? Finding old romance movies on cable. I kind of wish George would watch Casablanca with me, but he was busy tonight and last night, and all this past weekend, and on his birthday so I just watched it by myself. Well, it was me and Gary and the double-chocolate brownies JoAnn sent home with me, but Gary was sort of busy cleaning himself. I don't think he was very taken in by Rick and Ilsa and Viktor, which is sort of sad, but he's just a cat anyway, so old romance movies are probably not what he really cares about. Oh well. Life!
